In 2023, I created this short hand-drawn animation, digitally drawing it frame by frame. I wanted to capture the feeling of longing—missing someone who is far away, but also missing a time in your life.

I loved making this animation, and it ended up going viral. People really connected with it, which reminded me why I love illustration and animation: connecting with others and bringing emotions to life that can be hard to explain.
